Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - India v Bangladesh 2nd Test
The 2nd match of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
While Bangladesh gave India a tough fight in the T20I series, they were no match for the powerful Indian Test team and suffered an innings defeat in the Indore Test. What was even more unfortunate was that the match was done and dusted within three days which is never a great sign.
Bangladesh are currently struggling in all the three departments. While their batsmen managed only 150 runs in the first innings in Indore, they were bowled out for 213 in the second one. They played only two pacers in the 1st Test - Abu Jayed and Ebadat Hossain and will certainly add one more, probably Mustafizur Rahman.
The second Test in Kolkata will be played with the pink ball under lights in which pacers will play a huge role. The team can also consider dropping their seventh batsman for an extra bowler.
India are looking quite settled and are not expected to make any changes to their playing XI, which is rare under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal will continue to open the innings for India with Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane following.
Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma will form the Indian pace trioka along with Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin as the two spinning all-rounders.
The first Test got over within three days and that was when it was not even played with the pink ball. How long for the second one?
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
Bangladesh - Imrul Kayes, Shadman Islam, Mohammad Mithun, Mominul Haque(c), Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Liton Das(wk), Mehedy Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Jayed, Ebadat Hossain
India - Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli(c), Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Saha(wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma
