Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - India v Sri Lanka 3rd T20I
The 3rd and the last match of the three-match T20I series between India and Sri Lanka will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
After the first match of the series in Guwahati was abandoned, India succeeded in registering a 7-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the 2nd T20I at Indore.
The match went as per India's plan right from the get-go with Sri Lanka managing only 142 runs from their 20 overs. Despite a settled start, Navdeep Saini and Kuldeep Yadav did not allow Sri Lanka to accelerate and maintained constant pressure. As a result, the team tried to up the ante and lost their wickets periodically.
Lokesh Rahul then got India off to a great start and 54 runs in the powerplay without any loss meant that the hosts had already half-won the match. Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli then finished it out to see India to a comfortable win.
While it is unlikely for India to make any change to their playing XI irrespective of the conditions, Sri Lankan head coach Mickey Arthur hinted that a batting collapse in the second game meant that experienced middle order batsman Angelo Mathews might be included in the side for the last match.
With Lasith Malinga having already advocated to give chances to as many players as possible, a couple of changes in the Sri Lankan XI are almost certain.
Isuru Udana's injury means that he will not be available for this game and hence Kasun Rajitha is likely to come into the side.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
India - Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Jasprit Bumrah
Sri Lanka - Danushka Gunathilaka, Avishka Fernando, Kusal Perera, Angelo Mathews, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dhananjaya de Silva, Dasun Shanaka, Kasun Rajitha, Wanindu Hasaranga, Lahiru Kumara, Lasith Malinga
