Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - India v West Indies 2nd T20I
The 2nd match of the three-match T20I series between India and West Indies will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
The series opener of the three-match affair between India and West Indies was a high-octane encounter. India had been playing on slow pitches for a while and so did West Indies in the series against Afghanistan. To see both teams score freely on a batting paradise at the Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium in Hyderabad was exciting for a change.
West Indies, to be honest, dominated the match for the most part. Several of their batsmen Evin Lewis, Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Kieron Pollard and Jason Holder contributed well. Sheldon Cottrell delivered with the ball to remove Rohit Sharma early.
However, it was a Virat Kohli masterclass, with able support from Lokesh Rahul, that saw India chase down the huge 207-run total. You can't actually do much when a genius is on song.
It's good to see though that West Indies are switched on from the outset. They are expected to bring in Keemo Paul in place of Jason Holder for the 2nd T20I. Fabian Allen may take the place of Hayden Walsh and Nicholas Pooran will obviously return to the XI after his 4-match ban ends.
India will consider replacing Shivam Dube by Manish Pandey. Either of Kuldeep Yadav or Mohammed Shami can then come in at the cost of one of Ravindra Jadeja or Washington Sundar.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI both teams:
India - Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey, Washington Sundar/Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami/ Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, Yuzvendra Chahal
West Indies - Evin Lewis, Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Denesh Ramdin, Keemo Paul, Khary Pierre/Fabien Allen, Hayden Walsh, Sheldon Cottrell, Kesrick Williams
