Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction- New Zealand v India 2nd T20I
After being outplayed by India in the ODI series, New Zealand outplayed India in the T20I opener.
India made some strange team selections in the first T20I. First, they decided to go with Vijay Shankar in place of Kuldeep Yadav. One knows that the team is mindful of overexposing the mystery spinner in the lead-up to the World Cup but Shankar didn't bowl and playing him as a pure batsman in T20 is beyond comprehension.
Similarly, Khaleel Ahmed has not been up to the mark in the chances that he has got. It calls for a specialist T20 bowler in Siddharth Kaul who is brilliant at the death and can hit consistent yorkers. The fact that pulls weight to this argument is that Khaleel does not even feature for his IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.
India's batting was quite deep but that does not seem to matter after they conceded close to 220 runs.
New Zealand, on the other hand, have found a solid opener in Tim Seifert who is a tidy wicket-keeper as well. Ross Taylor is gradually coming back to his best. The team also possesses the power of Colin Munro and Colin de Grandhomme
In the bowling department, the raw Lockie Ferguson along with the skill of Tim Southee, coupled with the spinning acumen of Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi can be a handful for India in the 2nd T20I also.
Let's have a look at the predicted playing XI of both teams.
New Zealand- Tim Seifert, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Ross Taylor, Jimmy Neesham, Doug Bracewell, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Lockie Ferguson
