Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - Pakistan v Sri Lanka 2nd ODI
The 2nd ODI of the three-match series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also be played at the rain-hit National Stadium in Karachi.
The second ODI was scheduled to be played on 29th September but was later pushed one day to 30th September in order to give the Karachi groundsmen enough time to deal with the rainwater.
There was news that the drains in the stadium had been clogged after the rainfall and there were only men with wipers to be seen. Super soppers eluded sight. Pakistan would have to pull up their socks in order to ensure that regular international cricket happens in the country.
They would now have to wait two more days to see some international Cricket at home. However, when you look at the 10-year exile period, these two days may not seem that long.
Not a lot has changed since the first ODI, which never really happened. Pakistan has had the upper hand over Sri Lanka in the recent past, winning nine of the last 11 head to head encounters, including all of the last six.
The Pakistan team will take a new look after senior pro Shoaib Malik has retired. Mohammad Nawaz, Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan will return to the unit. Shaheen Shah Afridi, who starred in Pakistan's last match of the World Cup after picking up a six-wicket haul, remains unavailable.
Avishka Fernando, Nuwan Pradeep and Isuru Udana will be the key players for the visitors.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
Pakistan- Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Asif Ali, Haris Sohail, Imad Wasim, Sarfaraz Ahmed (c, wk), Wahab Riaz, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Amir, Usman Shinwari
Sri Lanka- Avishka Fernando, Danushka Gunathilaka, Angelo Perera, Lahiru Thirimanne (c), Dasun Shanaka, Shehan Jayasuriya, Minod Banuka (wk), Wanindu Hasaranga, Nuwan Pradeep, Isuru Udana, Kasun Rajitha
