Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - South Africa v England 3rd T20I
The 3rd match of the three-match T20I series between South Africa and England will be played at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Despite England's late brilliance with the bat in the form of Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali, South Africa were looking in the drivers' seat at one point in the chase.
It was courtesy of their skipper Quinton de Kock's record half-century as he brought up the milestone off just 17 deliveries - the quickest T20I half-century by a South African. With some help from Rassie van der Dussen, South Africa required 74 off the last 6 overs.
That is a score that is chaseable in modern-day T20 cricket with wickets in hand. But, it was the death bowling of Chris Jordan and the final over from Tom Curran which did not allow South Africa to seal the game despite being in a winning situation. Much like what happened to England in the first game of the series.
England decided to stick to the same playing XI in the last match. Mark Wood and Tom Curran, who were expensive in the first game, picked up two wickets each despite leaking a few runs.
South Africa brought in spinner Bjorn Fortuin in place of Dale Steyn and he did his job decently well, conceding 15 off his two overs. Joe Denly, after having failed in both the first two games, is expected to be benched for Dawid Malan.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:
South Africa - Quinton de Kock (c & wk), Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, JJ Smuts, David Miller, Dwaine Pretorius, Andile Phehlukwayo, Bjourn Fortuin, Beuran Hendricks/Dale Steyn, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi
