Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction - West Indies v India 1st ODI
The first game of the three-match ODI series between West Indies and India will be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
After India won the T20I series 3-0 by winning the last match by seven wickets, it is now time for the ODI series. There will be some new players coming into the ranks for India and West Indies and the impact they have will be crucial in changing the dynamics between the two teams and also on the fanduel offer on the outcome of the match.
For West Indies, Chris Gayle will be back and is likely to open the innings along with Evin Lewis. Shai Hope will follow at one drop. Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran are expected to retain their places.
In the bowling department, Sheldon Cottrell and Oshane Thomas will lead their attack.
For India, the top three in Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will remain the same. One of KL Rahul or Shreyas Iyer is expected to be tried and given a long rope at number four. In the absence of MS Dhoni, Rishabh Pant will be India's keeper-batsman.
Mohammed Shami will be back in the team and is likely to play along with either of Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Navdeep Saini. The spin twins will get a game as well as off spinner Ravindra Jadeja.
West Indies had their best chance of winning in the T20I series and after they failed to do that, challenging India in the 50 overs, which is their preferred format, will be an even tougher task.
