The third and last game of the ODI series between West Indies and India will be played at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain in Trinidad.

With the increasing share of T20 cricket, series are being restricted to three matches more and more. The drawback of this arrangement is that if one match is is abandoned, there is little remaining to play for.

After the first match of the ongoing three-match series between India and West Indies was rained off and India won the second one by 59 runs, the visitors have now taken a 1-0 lead.

India have thus ensured that they cannot lose the series from here on. For West Indies to come back and draw the series, they have to win the last ODI.

After Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer combined to put a 279-run total on the board in the last ODI, West Indies started well but could not capitalise on their start. After being 148-3, the Men in Maroon were well placed to win the 2nd ODI but some good bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav and reckless batting from the West Indian batsmen, saw the hosts throw away the chance.

That said, in the absence of some of its key players, the Indian team is not as strong and is beatable.

Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams:

West Indies- Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, Shai Hope, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Roston Chase, Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite, Fabian Allen, Sheldon Cottrell, Kemar Roach

India- Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, K Khaleel Ahmed/Navdeep Saini
