Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction- Windies v England 3rd ODI

Windies would take a lot of positives from the 2nd ODI not least the century from Shimron Hetmyer and the fifer from Sheldon Cottrell.

The good thing about this ODI series is that it is a five-match ODI series and with Windies and England tied at 1-1 after two matches, it is more than likely that the better team will ultimately emerge victorious which is not always the case in a three-match series.

England have themselves to blame for losing the 2nd ODI as they had things pretty much under control at one point when Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler were at the crease. The team needed 62 runs from 61 deliveries but then a string of wickets fell and England's lower order choked.

Earlier, after a half-century from opener Chris Gayle, it was the explosive century from Shimron Hetmyer which took the team to 289 which was a decent but a below par total. The reason for this was that apart from Hetmyer, all the other Windies batters played at a strike rate which was substantially lower than hundred.

There were no standout bowling performances from England apart from Mark Wood who picked up only one wicket but bowled at an economy of under four.

Unlike the first ODI, openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow could not get England off to a good start. However, Joe Root and Eoin Morgan combined once again to stabilize things. It were the three quick wickets from Jason Holder of Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Tom Curran which turned things around. At last, Sheldon Cottrell dismissed Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid in one over to bag a fifer and take his team over the line.

The next two matches would be played at Grenada. Windies have shown that they have the potential to surprise the visitors.

Let's have a look at the probable playing XI of both teams.

Windies- Chris Gayle, John Campbell, Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer, Darren Bravo, Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite, Ashley Nurse, Devendra Bishoo, Oshane Thomas, Sheldon Cottrell

England- Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Alex Hales, Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, Mark Wood, Chris Woakes
