The first match of India's campaign against Pakistan was abandoned due to rain.

In the match against Pakistan, India batted first and they were bowled out for 266. The start was terrible as both Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi were breathing fire with the ball. Afridi removed Indian stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli quite early into the innings. When India were struggling at 66 for 4, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya took the responsibility of taking India out of trouble. Kishan made 82, while Pandya struck 89 runs to help India get to 266.

Right after the first innings, rain arrived and the match couldn't restart again.

They are a strong team and it won't a big surprise if they completely dominate Nepal in their next game.

During the chase, Kushal Bhurtel struck 2 boundaries before getting caught behind off the bowling of Shaheen Afridi. The Pakistani bowlers were really dominating the Nepali batting. Haris Rauf struck important blows in the middle overs and broke the back of the chase. Shadab Khan then finished the proceedings off with a 4-fer as he helped wrap Nepal innings to 104. Pakistan thus won the match by 238 runs.
