Current Form Pakistan:

Pakistan have made a tremendous start to the tournament by defeating Nepal with a big margin in the first game they played.

The top run scorer for Pakistan in the Asia Cup is Babar Azam with 151 runs to his name.

The top wicket taker for Pakistan in the Asia Cup is Shadab Khan with 4 scalps under his belt.

In their first match, Pakistan batted first and they posted a huge total of 342 for 6 in 50 overs. Babar Azam led the way as he scored 151 runs off 131 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed also shone bright with a valuable knock of 109 not out in just 71 balls. His backfoot play was simply incredible and it seems to be giving him runs. On the back of these two incredible knocks, Pakistan got to 342 in 50 overs of play.

During the chase, Kushal Bhurtel struck 2 boundaries before getting caught behind off the bowling of Shaheen Afridi. The Pakistani bowlers were really dominating the Nepali batting. Current Form India:

India have been in a middling form in ODI cricket. Although they have recently defeated West Indies in a 3 match ODI series by 2-1, they lost against Australia by the same 2-1 margin at home.

They also lost a 3 match ODI series against Bangladesh in December last year by 2-1.

Players to look out for:

1. Tilak Varma - He is a young batting sensation who has been phenomenal on the international stage lately. If he gets a chance in the batting line-up, he can prove to be a match winner for India.

2. Jasprit Bumrah - Making a comeback after a long injury layover, Bumrah is looking as fresh as ever. He bowled very well against Ireland recently and he should take long strides in the Asia Cup as well.
