Cricket Betting Tips and Match Predictions BBL- Adelaide Strikers v Melbourne Renegades

Alex Carey is in great form

In their last previous encounter, Adelaide Strikers beat Melbourne Renegades in the semi final of last year's BBL.

Both Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades won their opening fixtures of the BBL and would be high on confidence going into this encounter.

With Travis Head unavailable, Colin Ingram was the interim skipper in the last match and would continue till Head is back.

Rashid Khan was the main factor for the Adelaide Strikers in their win against the Brisbane Heat. The leggie picked up three wickets and conceded just 19 runs, bowling 14 dot balls. Peter Siddle and Matthew Short were also extremely stingy and did not allow the opposition batters to score anything at all.

Openers Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald continued the good work from the last season and had a 50 plus opening stand. Carey's 46-ball 70 specially set the platform for the team.

Just like the national commitments of Travis Head, Aaron Finch is also not available for the time being. Tom Cooper will lead the side in his absence.

Melbourne Renegades batsmen did not go too big in the last game. Mohammad Nabi's 35 and Sam Harper's 36 were the top knocks in the low scoring game.

However, their bowlers won them the match. Kane Richardson had figures of 3-23 while Dan Christian returned with figures of 3-22. Jack Wildermuth and Usman Shinwari also bagged a couple each to take the side to victory.
