The Renegades beat Brisbane Heat in both encounters in the last season. The match will be played at the Gabba which is the home ground of Brisbane Heat but they have lost all of their last three matches played here.
Brisbane Heat have replaced Marnus Labuschagne with Alex Ross while leg spinner Mitchell Swepson was included in the playing XI in place of left-arm pacer Josh Lalor in the last match.
Chris Lynn has been right on the money with scores of 84, 33 and 54 in the last three encounters. His opening partner Brendon McCullum also got back to form with a half-century against Sydney Thunder.
Max Bryant and Ben Cutting are the other talented batsman in the line up. James Pattinson and Mujib Ur Rahman will bear the responsibility of the bowling.
Aaron Finch will not be available for the Melbourne Renegades as he is a part of the Australian ODI team. Marcus Harris has been added to the team who is expected to open the batting long with Mackenzie Harvey. Tom Cooper will lead the side.
