They are coming on the back of consecutive wins and would be a force to reckon with. Rangpur Riders beat Dhaka Dynamites by eight wickets in the last encounter in which both teams faced each other.
Sunil Narine will open the batting along with Upul Tharanga for the Dynamites. He has made some handy contributions in both the playoff matches and would be expected to get the team off to a good start. He would be followed by Rony Talukdar and Shakib Al Hasan.
With the ball, Hasan along with Rubel Hossain will play a major role. One must also not underestimate Sunil Narine who picked up a four-fer in the Eliminator. Despite his contribution with the bat, one must not forget that he essentially made his name as a mystery bowler.
Rangpur Riders would be without Alex Hales and AB de Villiers who had been their crucial players till now. It will also bring an opportunity for Chris Gayle to play his typical big-game knock. He would get good support from Rilee Rossouw who is the highest run-scorer of the tournament with one century and five half-centuries.
With the ball, Mashrafe Mortaza will take charge, who already has 20 wickets in the tournament. He would be assisted by Shafiul Islam and Farhad Reza.
Let's have a look at the probable playing XIs of both teams.
