During the chase, Lions XI lost 2 wickets early on for just 14 runs on the board. They looked in great trouble at that moment. Krishna Pandey smashed 47 off 17 balls and gave some hope to his team for a successful chase. S Parameeswaran also supported him well as he made 52 off 40 balls. After these two batters got dismissed, Lions XI simply crumbled to the pressure. They were eventually restricted to 181 for 8 in 20 overs, as Lions XI lost the match by 13 runs.
