The 12th T20 of the Baroda T20 Challenge 2022 will take place between Challenger and Gladiators at the Albemic Ground, Vadodara.

Current Form Challenger:

Challenger lost their last match against Stallions by a small margin of 10 runs.

Stallions won the toss and elected to bat first. The openers got the team off to a flying start. Rohit Thakur made 41 off 23 balls while Rohan Patel made 17 off 16 balls. In the middle order, Malav Patel took the responsibility of getting his team to a respectable total and in the process, he smashed an unbeaten 35 off 29 balls. On the back of his gritty knock, Stallions got to a total of 167 for 7 in 20 overs.

Chasing 167, Challenger openers looked in a sublime touch as they smashed the bowlers to all parts of the ground in the powerplay overs. Dhruv N Patel scored a good looking 40 in 39 balls. He looked in great touch but was removed by Himesh Patel in the 11^th over. After his dismissal, the scoring rate dropped and Challenger looked in all sorts of trouble. Yashwardhan Singh tried to rescue the ship by tonking 25 runs in just 13 balls but it wasn’t enough as Challenger could only make 157 for 8 in their quota of 20 overs as they lost the match by 10 runs.

Current Form Gladiators:

Gladiators won their last match against Titans by 35 runs.

Titans won the toss and elected to field first. Amit Passi was fantastic with the bat for Gladiators from ball one. He stitched an important 126 run first wicket partnership with Shubham Jadhav. Amit Passi made a valuable contribution to Gladiators total by smashing 83 off just 47 deliveries. The middle order put the ball to the fence when required and Gladiators got to a huge total of 199 for 4 in 20 overs.

Chasing 199, Titans started off terribly as they lost their opening batter Harsh Desai after he scored just 2 runs. Sanjay Vishwakarma played a brave knock of 41 in 28 balls but he was losing partners at the other end quite often. His innings went to vain as Titans could only manage 164 for 9 in 20 overs, losing the match by 35 runs.
