Cricket Betting Tips and Match Predictions CSA T20 Challenge 2019 - Dolphins v Knights
The second match of the CSA T20 Challenge will be played between Dolphins and Knights at Kingsmead in Durban.
Earlier known as Diamond Eagles, Knights found success earliest in the tournament, winning the inaugural edition in 2004. A couple of years later, in 2006, they again won the Championship to become one of the best performing teams of the league then.
Knights also ended as runners-up in 2009 and 2014. But post 2014, their fortunes have been on a decline as the Knights have not been able to dish out impressive performances. In the last season of the league, they managed to win only two matches and ended at the bottom of the points table. Using the Ladbrokes code you can get competitve odds on the Knights in the CSA T20 Challenge this year and they do have players like Ryan McLaren, Shadley van Schalkwyk and Corne Dry, who have the potential to lift the team.
Dolphins have certainly not been one of the best teams of the tournament, but there have been times when they have sprung up a surprise. Their maiden title win came in 2014, when they beat Cape Cobras in a closely fought final.
In the last edition, Dolphins ended as runners-up, losing the final to the Titans. Apart from the last season, Dolphins have been runners-up on two more occasions and would consider themselves unfortunate to win only one trophy despite making it to four finals.
Dolphins have Morne van Wyk, Vaughn van Jaarsveld and Robbie Frylinck and Andile Phehlukwayo in their ranks and are tipped to beat the Knights.
Let's have a look at the squads of both teams.
