Scotland batted first and posted a total of 258 for 6 in 50 overs. Calum MacLeod at number 3 scored 50 off 81 balls. George Munsey in the middle order was fantastic as he smashed 71 runs in 109 balls. A brilliant cameo of 18 runs in 9 balls played by Michael Leask in the death overs ensured that Scotland crossed the 250 run mark and reached a total of 258 for 6 in 50 overs.
During the chase, Namibia's top order was derailed in the powerplay overs. They were reduced to 3 for 8 in the 7th over and Namibia looked in all sorts of trouble. Jan Nicol Loftie Eaton and Lohan Louwrens played patient and valuable knocks of 50 and 47 runs respectively but the target looked too tall for them. Once they got dismissed, no other batter posed any resistance to a beautiful bowling display by the Scottish bowlers. Namibia were bowled out for 181 by the end of the 43rd over as they lost the match by 77 runs.
