Pakistan Form Guide:

Despite having tough chances to make it to the Semis, Pakistan have successfully qualified for the Semi Final of the tournament, thanks to South Africa's beating against Netherlands.

The top run scorer for Pakistan is Shan Masood with 134 runs to his name.

The top wicket taker for Pakistan is Shadab Khan with 10 scalps under his belt.

Pakistan won their previous match against Bangladesh by 5 wickets.

Bangladesh batted first and they posted a total of 127 for 8 in 20 overs. The start was good as Nazmul Hossain Shanto played with a lot of intelligence. He scored 54 in 48 balls before throwing his wicket away. Shakib Al Hasan was victim of poor umpiring and the world witnessed a monumental collapse after that. None of the middle order batters played well and as a result, Bangladesh were restricted to a small total of 127 in 20 overs of play.

During the chase, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam got their team off to a slow start. However, they ensured of not losing any wicket. Rizwan made a run a ball 32. A real game changing knock was played by Mohammad Haris who struck 31 runs off 18 balls. Shan Masood also stayed not out at 24 in 12 balls to take his team home in the 19th over with 5 wickets in hand.

New Zealand Form Guide:

New Zealand have performed brilliantly in the tournament and have finished at number 1 in their group. They will face Pakistan's challenge in the first semi final.

The top run maker for New Zealand in the tournament is Glenn Phillips with 195 runs to his name.

The top wicket taker for New Zealand in the tournament is Mitchell Santner with 8 scalps under his belt.

New Zealand won their previous match against Ireland by 35 runs.

New Zealand batted first and they posted a total of 185 for 6 in 20 overs. Finn Allen and Devon Conway started off well and struck 32 and 28 runs respectively. Kane Williamson finally struck form again and he smashed 61 off 35 balls before being dismissed by Josh Little. Little completed a hattrick and as a result, New Zealand couldn't get to an ideal total.

During the chase, Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie got their team off to a flier. They scored 37 and 30 runs respectively. The middle order failed terribly and they went from 68 for 0 to 120 for 6 in the 17th over. There was no recovery for Ireland post that period and they were restricted to 150 for 9 in 20 overs, losing the match by 35 runs.
