Cricket Betting Tips & Match Predictions: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021 – Delhi Bulls vs Northern Warriors - Match 25
The 25th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 2021 will be played between Delhi Bulls and Northern Warriors at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
This is a qualifier game for the two teams and both would like to win the match to proceed further into the Finals.
Current Form Delhi Bulls:
Delhi Bulls have been in terrific form lately and they convincingly defeated Qalandars in the last match they played. Fielding first after winning the toss, Fidel Edwards provided the first breakthrough in the form of Sharjeel Khan. Tom Banton played well for his 26 run knock but he consumed 20 deliveries for that, which is quite unusual of him. The middle order could not spend enough time on the crease and lost their wickets at important junctures. A 5 ball 18 run cameo by Samit Patel towards the end of the innings provided the much needed boost to take the team total to 107 for 6 in 10 overs. Fidel Edwards bowled a terrific spell picking up 2 wickets.
Chasing 107, Rahmanullah Gurbaz lost his wicket early on to Ahmad Daniyal. However, by the time he was dismissed, Delhi Bulls were well on course and had scored 47 runs in 3 overs. Evin Lewis was the star of the show as he smashed an unbeaten 48 off 18 deliveries to ensure there were no hiccups in chasing a small total. Ravi Bopara provided a brilliant supporting knock of 37 in 15 balls to take his team home by 9 wickets with 16 balls to spare.
Current Form Northern Warriors:
Northern Warriors have won their last game against Pune Devils in an authoritative manner. Fielding first, Wahab Riaz and Wayne Parnell mixed their line and lengths well to keep the batters guessing. Wahab Riaz removed the in-form Tom Kohler-Cadmore while Wayne Parnell took the prized wicket of Alex Davies. Chadwick Walton could not trouble the scorers as he was dismissed for a golden duck. Kennar Lewis played well for his 24 off 9 deliveries but his innings was cut short by Fabian Allen. Rayad Emrit was too hot to handle in the middle overs as he applied brakes to any momentum achieved by Pune Devils. In the end, Devils ended up with 97 for 8 in their 10 overs.
Chasing 97 could have been tricky on this surface but Northern Warriors did well by keeping the opening combination intact and sent Waseem Muhammad to bat at number 1. He looked as if he was batting on an entirely different surface as he smashed an unbeaten 56 off 13 deliveries to take his team home without any hassles. His half century came in just 12 deliveries. Brandon King and Rovman Powell also made commendable contributions and as a result, Northern Warriors did not have to break a sweat to chase the total in the 5th over itself with 8 wickets in hand.
Top Run Scorers:
Nicolas Pooran is the leading run scorer for Northern Warriors with 197 runs to his name in 6 matches.
Evin Lewis is the leading run scorer for Delhi Bulls with 196 runs to his name at an average of 98.
