Live Scores and Stats - Ranchi Roses Women and Dhanbad Daffodils - Match 1

After a phenomenal success of Karbonn T20, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association is rolling out a Women’s T20 trophy starting from 14th February onwards. This is the first Women’s Domestic tournament being held after the outbreak of Corona Virus pandemic early last year.

What to expect from Ranchi Roses Women:

Key Players:

Nidhi Buley is a very prominent player in the Ranchi Roses lineup. She has managed to play only 1 Test and 1 ODI for the Indian Women National Team. However, her experience would play a handy role in Ranchi Roses Women’s progress throughout the tournament. The last time she played a competitive game was in 2016 against Goa Women where she bowled an economical spell giving away 24 runs without picking up a wicket. She also made an important contribution of 19 runs to the Team’s total. While she is known for her bowling skills, her batting prowess cannot be undermined either.

Durga Murmu is a prolific all-rounder who will play in Ranchi’s ranks against Dhanbad. She picked up 14 wickets last season in 14 games and also scored plenty of runs. She is very much capable of boosting the scoring rate and will be one player to look out for in the first match of the tournament.

Ila Khan can also be very handy with the bat. She carries a top score of 98 not out to her name and is expected to convert starts into bigger scores.

Simran Mansoori is another bowler in the ranks of Ranchi Roses who can put significant breaks on run scoring and can bowl very economical spells.

What to expect from Dhanbad Daffodils:

Key Players

Shanti Kumari is an immensely talented bowler playing for Dhanbad Daffodils. She has a great experience of playing for India-A team and can use it against Ranchi Roses in the first game of the Jharkhand Women’s T20 Trophy.

Priya Kumari has 3 fifties to her name in 9 domestic fixtures and she can be an impactful player for Dhanbad going deep into the tournament.

Urmila Kumari is another top notch player in the Dhanbad Women side. She has scored a number of fifty plus scores in domestic tournaments and is very much capable of turning the game upside down with her performance.
