Leicestershire 375/7dec (Horton 146, Dearden 102, Bopara 3/52)

Leicestershire continue their strong showing in this match thanks to fantastic centuries for Horton and Dearden.

They batted with class the pair of them, reaching their tons in the middle of the afternoon, totally dominating the Sussex bowling attack. They declared on 375/7 and had reduced Sussex to 111/5 at the close.

Middlesex v Glamorgan

Glamorgan 137 (Finn 7/71)

Steven Finn destroyed the Glamorgan batting line-up claiming 7/71 and putting Middlesex firmly in control. He bowled with pace and bounce that was too much too handle and Glamorgan limped to 137ao giving the home team a comfortable first-innings lead.

Middlesex knew they just had to bat sensibly to set the match up and by close they had a lead of nearly 350 thanks mainly to Toby Roland Jones's unbeaten 64.

Worcestershire v Durham
