Godleman missed out on a century making 96 but he'll be delighted with his teams' performance here as they maintain the pressure on the teams ahead of them.

Durham completed the victory and in some style, Alex Lees making an unbeaten century. He played beautifully from start to finish and had the maturity to see the job through to the end. Result – Match Drawn

In a truly remarkable game of cricket honours were even, just about!

Asked to chase an unlikely 343 to win on the final afternoon they managed to give themselves a chance needing 6 to win from the last ball.

Patel held his nerve and bowled Davies who had made a stunning 188. Nottinghamshire celebrated the draw as if it were a win but both teams should be celebrating a brilliant game of virtual cricket.

Worcestershire v Leicestershire

Worcestershire CCC 272 (Mitchell 65, Davis 5/82) & 281 (Fell 113, Taylor 4/68)

Leicestershire CCC 221 (Rhodes 76, Barnard 5/40) & 280 (Klein 50, Parkinson 44*, D'Oliveira 4/34, Tongue 4/89)

Result – Worcestershire won by 52 runs

Worcestershire wrapped up the victory by 52 runs after a spirited display from the Leicestershire batters.

They will look back at their first innings as the main cause for this defeat, that's not to say that they couldn't have pinched it this afternoon. The lower middle order were quite well placed before D'Oliveira took 4/34 with his leg-spin.
