Warwickshire v Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire 249ao (Hankins 65, Hannon-Dalby 3/41) & 340ao (Bracey 63, Stone 4/76)                             

Result - Warwickshire won by 10 runs    

 

Hampshire v Northamptonshire

Hants 365/8 (Weatherley 76, Glover 4/72) & 207ao (Alsop 77, Sanderson 4/78) &             

Northants 236ao (Newton 73, Taylor 4/80) & 337/5 (Vasconcelos 170, Wakely 121, Stevenson 3/92)

Result - Northamptonshire won by 5 wickets      

 

Yorkshire v Lancashire

Yorks 327ao (Malan 71, Bailey 3/36) & 271ao (Willey 67, Mahmood 5/70)                           

Lancs 116ao (Jones 33, Willey 8/48) & 357ao (Buttler 151, Patterson 3/59)                          

Result - Yorkshire won by 125 runs          

 

Surrey v Essex   

Surrey 130ao (Borthwick 27, Porter 7/47) &         244ao (Burns 100, Allison 4/27)

Essex 329/9dec (Porter 67, J Overton 4/80) & 49/4 (Browne 23, Plunkett 3/28)

Division 2



Glamorgan v Sussex

Glamorgan CCC 369/5dec (Lloyd 166, Cooke 121*) & 232 (Bull 69*, Root 58, Crocombe 5/65)

Sussex CCC 191 (Wagg 3/27) & 151 (de Lange 6/74)         

Result – Glamorgan won by 259 runs      

Glamorgan wrapped up the victory with minimal fuss. Marchant de Lange claimed 6/74 as he and Hogan inflicted most of the damage.

This is a huge win for Glamorgan and a crushing one for Sussex who will aim to do much better in the final two rounds of the Virtual season.

 

Leicestershire v Nottinghamshire

Leicestershire CCC 234 (Dearden 48, Chappell 5/46) & 261 (Dearden 50, Ball 4/94)

Nottinghamshire CCC 306 (Trego 101, Moores 79, Griffiths 4/80) & 351/8dec (Hameed 118, Moores 58*)                     

Result – Nottinghamshire won by 162 runs

Nottinghamshire wrapped up an important win thanks mainly to Jake Ball's 4/94. Bottom beat top to really dent Leicestershire's title ambitions with two rounds of matches left but also improve the visitors chances of not getting the wooden spoon this year.       

 

Middlesex v Durham

Durham CCC 347/7dec (Eckersley 119, Bedingham 95) & 311/9dec (Burnham 102, Coughlin 56, Harris 4/72)

Middlesex CCC 312 (Simpson 67, Eskinazi 60, Davies 56, Carse 3/48) & 198 (Eskinazi 72, Coughlin 5/33

Result - Durham won by 148 runs

Paul Coughlin was the hero on the last day here, he ripped out the middle order and the tail to give Durham the victory. Earlier Salisbury had knocked over the top order taking the first four wickets to fall. Eskinazi made 72 but it was never going to be enough as Durham won by 148 runs.            

 

Worcestershire v Derbyshire

Worcestershire CCC 312/9dec (Haynes 107, Cox 90) & 267 (Tongue 57, Cohen 6/111)

Derbyshire CCC 236 (Godleman 90, Pennington 5/59) & 259 (Cohen 75, Pennington 4/83)

Result – Worcestershire won by 84 runs

Worcestershire wrapped up the victory by lunch on the last day. Needing just four more wickets to complete the win they did with Pennington (4/83) taking nine in the match. Cohen made 75 but the victory target was just too far away.
