Wayne Madsen took it upon himself to guide the team home with a superb undefeated century and give Derbyshire a much needed victory.

Worcestershire completed the victory in relatively easy style just after lunch on day 3. They took the final two wickets to leave themselves needing just 65 and although they lost three wickets of their own they will be delighted with the manner of their win.
Glamorgan v Leicestershire
Leicestershire 283 (Evans 71, Azad 63, Van der Gugten 3/53) & 338/8dec (Azad 96, Ackermann 77)

Leicestershire took the ten wickets they needed on the final day to take the victory which extends their lead at the top of the table. They left it very late in the day but eventually got the job done despite the resistence of the Glamorgan tail. Selman top scored with 83 with Taylor taking 4/75.

Sussex 68 (Ball 5/32, Trego 5/36) & 345 (Finch 65, Garton 62*, Mullaney 3/57)

Nottinghamshire completed the victory here on day 3 by seven wickets. They claimed the final 5 wickets but not before Sussex had gained a lead of 90 runs, not a huge lead but given where they were it was a symbol of their determination second time around. Nottinghamshire did lose three wickets all to Crocombe but Ben Slater guided the visitors home with 52*.
