Middlesex v Nottinghamshire: venue Lord's, London
Nottinghamshire 315 (Patel 91, Moores 64, Murtagh 4/65, Harris 3/73) & 370 (Moores 107, Duckett 100, Murtagh 4/84)
Middlesex 323 (Simpson 80, Harris 64, Robson 51, Mullaney 3/38)
Tom Moores and Ben Duckett both scored fabulous centuries here on day 3. Starting the day 8 runs behind, Nottinghamshire almost batted the day out; the last wicket falling in the first over of the extra half an hour at the close.
Moores and Duckett batted beautifully scoring all around the ground making the Middlesex seamers toil. They seem to have put the visitors in a no-lose situation but can they get the 10 wickets tomorrow to win?
Sussex v Glamorgan: venue Hove
Sussex 110 (de Lange 6/39, Hogan 4/71) & 332 (Archer 105*, Garton 57, Hogan 4/93)
Glamorgan 149 (Bopara 4/26, Robinson 4/36) & 164 (Selman 54, Garton 5/64)
Result – Sussex won by 129 runs
Points – Sussex (19) , Glamorgan (3)
Sussex wrapped up the win here very comfortably by a margin of 129 runs. Wickets fell regularly despite Selman's (54) resistance. Garton was the star with the ball taking 5/64 with Ollie Robinson chipping in with three giving him seven in the match.
Glamorgan rather suffered for not making the most of their brilliant start on day 1, who'd have thought at that time that Glamorgan would end up being beaten before the end of day 3.
Leicestershire v Worcestershire: venue Leicester
Leicestershire 383/5dec (Dearden 167*, Ackermann 69, Horton 57) & 89/1
Worcestershire 181 (Wright 4/86) & 392 (D'Oliveira 139, Cox 62, Mitchell 62, Mike 5/54)
Worcestershire fought right back into this match with some determined batting and guts shown today. Brett D'Oliveira scored a defining 139 along with Cox who made 73 giving the visitors some hope.
Leicestershire remain favourites thanks to Ben Mike who grabbed a season's best 5/54 for the hosts. They finished the day on 89/1 requiring a further 101 runs to win.
Derbyshire v Durham: venue Derby
Durham 232 (Harte 72, Palladino 6/61) & 278 (Trevaskis 112, Burnham 49, Rampaul 4/79)
Derbyshire 310/6 dec (Godleman 150, Hosein 51*, Wood 3/77) & 111/2 (Reece 63*)
Derbyshire finished day 3 in a very strong position, on the verge of their 2nd championship victory of the season. Ravi Rampaul took 4/79 as he and the other Derbyshire bowlers dismissed the visitors for 278, leaving 200 to win.
Liam Trevaskis scored his 2nd hundred of the campaign but that looks to be in vain as the home team ended the day needing a further 89 runs tomorrow with eight wickets in hand.
