WICKET

Fakhar Zaman out for 32 - (c) MS Dhoni, (b) Kuldeep Yadav

Big wicket for India removing Pakistan's top scorer thus far. Is India's total going to be enough? Pakistan are scoring quickly.

Absolutely giant final over for India, MS Dhoni might have just saved them from defeat with that. Pakistan must have felt comfortable up until that point.

India have managed to put together a reasonable score so far, considering the early collapse. Is it going to be enough? Unless they're pushing the 150-160 score, it might just be too little too late.

11:25

WICKET

Shikhar Dhawan (31) - (c) Babar Azam, (b) Shaheen Shah Afridi

HUGE over for Pakistan and Mohammad Amir. 2 wickets in as many balls, India are crumbling.

11:05

WICKET

Rohit Sharma, (lbw) Mohammad Amir

Huge early wicket for Pakistan just as Sharma was beginning to heat up on 11. 1st over, 1st wicket, things are looking in Pakistans favour again.

10:47

It comes down as a tail and Virat Kholi, smiling menacingly, licks his lips at the prospect of batting first on this wicket. India to bat first.

10:47

Here is the toss. It is Virat Kohli with the coin as the pair share a joke – probably about Virat’s poor form in this part of the game… and Sarfaraz calls ‘Heads!’

In the first match of the Cricket World #INDOPAK Cup series, Pakistan won the match by the narrowest of margins – just 5 runs - with veteran Shoaib Malik hitting a 22-ball 64 (including 6 sixes) and former captain Sarfaraz Ahmad making an unbeaten 53, the main run getters for the home side in their huge total of 169/5 in 10 overs.

Chasing a mammoth score of 170 to win, India fell just 5 runs short of victory, with Shreyas Iyer (who scored a 21-ball 51) and Virat Kohli (62). Had he not been dismissed by Wahab Riaz for a 20-ball 62, he might have taken India home. But, his dismissal at a crunch time cost India the match.
