Cricket World Player of the Week- Mitchell Santner
With back to back 3-wicket hauls in the first two T20Is against England, Mitchell Santner has yet again proved his utility as a limited-overs spin all-rounder.
Despite New Zealand's 7-wicket loss in the first T20I on the England tour of New Zealand and when all other Kiwi bowlers failed to take a wicket, Mitchell Santner stood out for the Black Caps with three wickets from 4 overs while conceding just 23 runs at an economy rate of 5.75, the lowest among his peers.
In the second game as well, he led the team's bowling attack to take New Zealand to a 21-run win with figures of 4-25-3.
New Zealand level the series!

The 27-year-old Satner is ranked at the 5th spot in the ICC T20 rankings but often flies under the radar. In the top 10 ICC teams among the spinners, Santner is the second-highest T20I wicket-taker this year with 15 wickets from just 9 matches at an economy rate of under 7.
In ODIs as well, he has an exceptional economy rate of 4.87 and ties up the batsmen.
If the Black Caps have to win the 5-match T20I series against England, Santner will have to play a big role in the remaining three matches as well.
