Cricket World Player of the Week - Mohammad Nabi

Nabi has shot right back to form with match-winning knocks, twice in two matches in the ongoing Bangladesh T20I tri-series.
Mohammad Nabi has shown time and again both in international cricket and in T20 leagues around the world what he is capable of. His prowess both with the bat and ball is an open secret.
However, he suffered a lean patch and was not able to dish out his characteristic performances in recent times. Apart from a half-century against India, Nabi had a forgettable World Cup campaign and his fans both in Afghanistan and worldwide were starting to get anxious about the waning returns of the all-rounder.
Nabi has shot right back to form with match-winning knocks, twice in two matches in the ongoing Bangladesh T20I tri-series against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. Nabi has starred with both bat and ball to help the team on a record 12 T20I successive winning streak.
Mohammad Nabi's brilliant 54-ball 84* and a brisk 40 from Asghar Afghan lift Afghanistan to 164/6.

Nabi (38, 18b) was first part of a top-class partnership with Najibullah Zadran when he partnered with Zadran to hit seven sixes off seven consecutive deliveries against Zimbabwe.
Against Bangladesh in the next match, when Afghanistan were in a spot of bother at 40-4, Nabi clobbered 84 from just 54 deliveries to ensure another Afghan win. The 34-year-old has offered control with the ball as well.
Chris Gayle's 22nd T20 century, a 62-ball 116 for Jamaica Tallawahs that helped them post the highest score in CPL history qualifies as a close second.
