While batting is Delhi's stronger suit, Mumbai's bowling has been sensational in the tournament till now.

LIVE - Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians, 13th Match

Last piece of the puzzle

Delhi Capitals made a couple of changes to their playing XI in their last match against Punjab Kings. The team was coming on the back of a defeat and wanted to set things right.

However, things did not start very well for them, and at one point it seemed as if they would be chasing around 230-240. But their bowlers pulled it back towards the end of the innings, with Delhi still needing to get 196 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to emerge victorious.

All their bowlers, apart from Ravichandran Ashwin and to some extent Avesh Khan, were expensive. Lukman Meriwala on IPL debut went at over 10 RPO. Same was the case with Chris Woakes, Kagiso Rabada and Lalit Yadav.

Dhawan has Delhi's back

However, DC's opening combination of Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan was sensational, with the team racing to 59 in no time. After Prithvi Shaw was dismissed, Shikhar Dhawan took the onus on himself and despite Steve Smith and Rishabh Pant scoring slowly, Dhawan was at it the entire time.

The opener was dismissed on 92 off 49 deliveries, cracking 13 fours and 2 sixes while batting at a strike rate of 187.76.

Courtesy of some fireworks from Marcus Stoinis and Lalit Yadav towards the end, Delhi chased it down with 10 balls to spare.

The team has Anrich Nortje available for selection. They might consider dropping Steve Smith for an Indian batsman and include the South African pacer in their playing XI. Or, they might choose to wait for one more match.

Mumbai to bring in Coulter-Nile

Mumbai Indians are back to winning ways after a blip in the season opener. While their batsmen have not fired, it is the way they have defended totals is what has stood out.

The team decided to bring in Kiwi tearaway Adam Milne in place of Marco Jansen in the last match and he proved expensive. If Nathan Coulter-Nile is fit, the team is likely to slot him back in the playing XI.

MI batting yet to come good

Mumbai also have a bit of a concern with their middle order, with Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya yet to fire. Kieron Pollard finally came good for the side in the last match.

What has been super impressive for them though is their bowling, particularly Jasprit Bumrah, who has been brilliant in the three matches till now. Trent Boult has also picked up wickets on a regular basis. Rahul Chahar too has bounced back strongly after a forgettable first match.

The clash between Delhi and Mumbai promises to be a hard-fought one.
