Deepti, Poonam set up 10-wicket win for India Women

Deepti Sharma and Poonam Yadav picked four wickets apiece as India Women dismissed Zimbabwe Women for 98 runs and later chased down the target in 16 overs with 10 wickets in hand to complete their fifth win in the Women's Quadrangular Series in Potchefstroom.
Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first. Shikha Pandey (1-29) provided the initial breakthrough when she dismissed Loren Tshuma (0) in the second over.
Chipo Mugeri (34) tried to wage a lone fight with her 60-ball knock but Deepti (4-17) struck at regular intervals to reduce Zimbabwe to 63 for six while Poonam (4-11) joined the destruction act and picked four wickets to ensure Sharne Mayers' team did not cross the 100-run mark.
In their chase, India looked in no trouble as Veda Krishnamurthy (50 not out) and Harmanpreet Kaur (39 not out) joined together for an unbeaten 99 run stand to complete the chase in 16 overs.
Deepti was awarded the player of the match for her splendid bowling spell as India registered their fifth win from six games to confirm their berth in the final along with South Africa Women.
