Aneurin Donald played a responsible innings of an unbeaten 66 after a top order collapse as Glamorgan managed to draw their County Championship Division Two encounter against Leicestershire on the final day.

Leicestershire resumed their second innings at 200 for three. Skipper Ned Eckersley (73) managed to add just three runs to his overnight score Mark Pettini (110 not out) played a terrific 169-ball unbeaten knock and was partially supported by Lewis Hill (42) and Ben Raine (29 not out) to help the hosts reach 360 for six before the declaration came.

Needing an improbable 355 runs for a victory, Glamorgan were rocketed early with the wickets of Jacques Rudolph (19), Nicholas Selman (4), David Lloyd (4) and Colin Ingram (1).

Just when they were reeling at 57 for four, Donald (66 not out) defied Leicestershire attack along with Chris Cooke (24 not out) to ensure Glamorgan did not lose any more wickets.

By the end of 46 overs, they reached 144 for four, thereby ending the game in a draw. Glamorgan got 13 points from the clash while Leicestershire were awarded 12.
