Durham pulled off a remarkable win over Derbyshire after being bowled out for 96 in their 1st Innings. Derbyshire were needing 199 runs to win, on the final day of their Specsavers County Championship Division 2 match against Durham, but were bowled out for 172 – 95 runs short.

Derbyshire 205 (Matthew Critchley 38 ; Chris Rushworth 3-57) and 172 (Ben Slater 68; Chris Rushworth 5-47, Matthew Salisbury 4-69)

Result - Durham (19 pts) beat Derbyshire (4 pts) by 95 runs

Durham bowlers Chris Rushworth 5-47 and Matthew Salisbury 4-69 completed a remarkable comeback for the county by taking the remaining Derbyshire wickets today.

After a disastrous 1st Innings on day one of the match, Durham completed an unlikely win with Gareth Harte 114 starring with the bat and Chris Rushworth with 8 wickets in the match starring with the ball.
