Emirates D10 League 2021: Highlights, Match Reports and Results from Day 1.

Dubai Pulse Secure vs ECB Blues

Losing the toss, Dubai Pulse Secure were asked to have a bat first. Wajid Khan and Fahad Nawaz provided a brilliant start to Dubai and collected 46 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. Fahad Nawaz was the top run scorer as he stayed unbeaten on 66 in 34 deliveries. Ronak Panoly provided the much needed push to the scoring rate down the order with his cameo of 31. Dubai Pulse Secure made 120 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs.

ECB Blues chased the total rather comfortably as the top 3 batters scored at an impressive rate to ensure that the pressure was never on the chasing team. CP Rizwan was the top run scorer for ECB Blues as he smashed his way to 40 in just 16 balls. ECB Blues won the game with 6 wickets in hand.

Fujairah Pacific Ventures vs Sharjah Bukhatir XI

Sharjah Bukhatir XI lost the toss and were asked to bat first against Fujairah Pacific Ventures. Sharjah Bukhatir XI did not get off to a great start but Fayyaz Ahmed in the middle order ensured they reached a safe total they could defend. He smashed 35 off just 19 deliveries and Sharjah Bukhatir XI finished their innings with 101 on board in 10 overs.

Chasing 101, Fujairah Pacific Ventures were derailed completely by the likes of Rohan Mustafa and Umair Ali. Ali picked up 2 wickets while Rohan Mustafa picked up 1 wicket in his miserly spell. Fujairah Pacific Ventures fell short of 9 runs in the end.

Ajman Alubond vs ECB Blues

Ajman Alubond won the toss and decided to have a bat first. The innings never gained momentum as they lost wickets in quick succession at the top of the order. Ameer Hamza played a handy knock of 33 runs in 19 deliveries. In the end, Ajman Alubond were restricted to 86 for 7 in their 10 overs.

While chasing 86, Mohammad Boota seemed to be in a hurry as he smashed 71 off 31 balls. It was an innings of pure class and throughout the second half, Ajman Alubond did not stand a single chance. In the end, ECB Blues chased the total with 10 wickets in hand.
