Team Abu Dhabi vs Dubai Pulse Secure:

Dubai Pulse Secure 90/5 (8.5 ov)

Abu Dhabi 89/8 (10 ov)

Result - Dubai Pulse Secure won by 5 wickets

Team Abu Dhabi won the toss and decided to have a bat first. Ali Abid scored a magnificent 61 off just 25 deliveries. Apart from him, there was no other batter who threatened the opposition. As a result, Abu Dhabi finished with a total of 89 for 8 in 10 overs.

Dubai Pulse Secure began the chase rather slowly as the openers could not derive the momentum needed in the powerplay overs. Team Abu Dhabi looked pretty much in the game throughout but the partnership between Shahrukh Sheikh and Bilal Cheema in the death overs ensured that Dubai Pulse Secure got over the line with 5 wickets in hand.

 

Fujairah Pacific Ventures vs ECB Blues:

Fujairah Pacific Ventures 126/4 (10 ov)

ECB Blues 119/6 (10 ov)

Result - Fujairah beat Emirates Blues by 7 runs

Fujairah Pacific Ventures won the toss and elected to bat first. Waseem Muhammad played a good hand at the top of the order with 35 off just 15 balls. Chirag Suri played a heroic knock of 64 in 30 deliveries. As a result of these performances, Fujairah Pacific Ventures got to a total of 126 for 4 in 10 overs.

ECB Blues got off to a terrible start as they lost 4 wickets at a total of 51.  Waheed Ahmed and Mohammad Azhar threatened to take the game away from Fujairah in the death overs, but the bowlers kept their nerve to take their team over the line. ECB Blues eventually lost the match by 8 runs. Chirag Suri was adjudged man of the match for his wonderful performance with the bat.

 

Team Abu Dhabi vs Sharjah Bukhatir XI:

Sharjah Bukhatir XI 86/4 (8.3 ov)

Abu Dhabi 85/7 (10 ov)

Result - Sharjah Bukhatir XI won by 6 wickets

Team Abu Dhabi won the toss and elected to bat first. Mazhar Bashir played very well for his 19 off 10 deliveries. However, after he got dismissed, there was no real momentum going into the innings. The bowlers kept it very tight especially Umair Ali who picked up 3 wickets. In the end, Team Abu Dhabi reached a total of 86 for 4 in 10 overs.

Chasing 86, Vriitya Aravind played a match winning knock of 53 in 25 deliveries. Despite the other batters failing, Aravind made sure he takes the team over the line by smashing the lose deliveries at will. Sharjah Bukhatir XI chased the total in the 9th over with 6 wickets in hand.
