England beat Bangladesh by 106 runs in Cardiff thanks to Jason Roy 153
Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field against England in their ICC Cricket World Cup encounter in Cardiff today.

Asked to bat first, England put on 67-0 after 10 overs with both Jason Roy (153) and Jonny Bairstow (51) batting well. The openers went on to score 128-1 for the first wicket in 19.1 overs. It was sign of things to as England piled on 386-6 off their 50 overs. Jos Buttler (64), Eoin Morgan (35) and Liam Plunkett (27*) also coming to the party. Mehidy Hasan 2-67and Mohammad Saifuddin 2-78 were the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh.
In reply, Bangladesh batted well, in particular, Shakib Al Hasan who scored 121 and Mushfiqur Rahim 44, however, England’s total of 386 was always going to be too much for Bangladesh and they were all out for 280. Ben Stokes 3-23 and Jofra Archer 3-30 were the pick of the England bowlers.
A good comeback for England after their defeat to Pakistan in their previous match in this World Cup.
