England beat India by 5 wickets in 2nd T20I to go 1-1 in Series





England won the toss and decided to bowl at Sophia Gardens Cardiff this evening against India in the 2nd T20I.

India 148-5 (20 overs): Virat Kohli 47 , Liam Plunkett 1-17
England 149-5 (19.4 overs): Alex Hales 58* , Jonny Bairstow 28
Result England won by 5 wickets
Alex Hales hit England to a 5 wicket win chasing India’s 148-5. England at one stage were 44-3 but needing 12 from the final over, Hales hit 10 and Willey 4 to bring England home and level the Series 1-1.
Earlier England had scored a below par 148-5 due to some great England bowling, particularly from Liam Plunkett.
The Series decider is on Sunday at The Brightside Ground Bristol.
