The schedule for the England Performance Programme's tour of Australia this winter has been confirmed, including matches in Brisbane and Perth.

The squad, which will also effectively serve as a 'reserve' Ashes squad, flies out on 14th November following preparation at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough.

The squad will start its programme in Australia in the new Cricket Australia High Performance Centre in Brisbane and then move on to the University of Western Australia in Perth.

They will play three-day matches against Queensland IIs in Brisbane and then take on Western Australia IIs in Perth. Neither match will have first-class status.

"The opportunity to take players to train in Australia is vital in identifying and developing players who can go on to be world-class cricketers for England in the future," ECB Performance Director David Parsons said.

"As with previous EPP training programmes, this training camp will shadow the England Test side and their programme as much as possible, so we will combine skills and fitness training with a programme of competitive cricket."
