New Zealand have been having a tough time in Test Cricket currently. They would like to suppress their current form and emerge as winners against England. Tim Southee will be the captain for the Series.

In the batting department, New Zealand look strong with the likes of Daryl Mitchell, Tom Latham and Will Young will boost the chances of the team with the bat.

On the bowling front, Southee will lead the attack along with Neil Wagner, Blair Tickner and Kyle Jamieson. Jamieson is returning to the squad after a long injury layover and will be hoping to produce some good performance in the upcoming series.

England on the other hand would like to bring their A game in place before the Ashes series begins in the summer. They will also likely experiment with their players and find the best combination for the big Ashes tour.
