England v Australia - 2nd ODI - Match Prediction and Cricket Betting Tips - Joe Root England

England plays Australia today in match two of the five match ODI series. England unconvincingly beat Australia, at the Kia Oval, on Wednesday, by 3 wickets and today’s match in Cardiff will not be any easier for them.

Although, England are currently ranked number one in the World for 50 over cricket, they had all the hallmarks on wednesday of drifting back to old ways and giving up match winning positions. Thanks to David Willey (35*), in the end, England managed to scramble a victory.

Match Prediction and Cricket Betting Tips

For me, todays’ result is going to depend on the weather conditions in Cardiff, which is going to be largely cloudy with the odd spells of sunshine and a light breeze blowing. I think this will favour the England bowlers and, as most of the online cricket betting companies have them as favourites, as well, to beat Australia, I’m going with an England win. The best odds can be found by visiting our cricket betting section and I would also take a look at bet365 and see the best odds for which batsman will top score today – I would go for Jonny Bairstow or Joe Root, who seems to be coming back into form.
