England v West indies series from 2019 and 2009 to be broadcast on FreeSport this week
- Ahead of the West Indies tour of England beginning 8th July, FreeSports are broadcasting the 2019 and 2009 series in the lead up

The 8th July sees the rescheduled West Indies tour of England begin and to get cricket fans excited for its restart, FreeSports is broadcasting both the 2019 and 2009 series’ each weekday in the lead up. Each of the 2019 ODI series is broadcast this week on FreeSports with the 2019 T20 broadcast this coming 6th and 7th July. The 2009 series will be broadcast on 13-15 July, 21-22 July right before the second and third tests respectively.
Last February, West Indies hosted England in the ODI series where it was drawn 2–2, after the third match was washed out, finishing as a no result. During the ODI series, there were multiple individual and team records were broken by both sides. England's captain Eoin Morgan became the first batsman for the England team to score 6,000 runs in ODIs whilst Chris Gayle became the second batsman for the West Indies, after Brian Lara, to score 10,000 runs in ODIs.
In March 2009, Chris Gayle captained the West Indies side who welcomed England captained by Andrew Strauss. The ODI series finished 3-2 to England with Freddie Flintoff putting in a man of the match performance to help his side win by 26 runs in the fifth game.
