Five young players - Alex Blake, James Goodman, Matt Coles, Phil Edwards and Warren Lee - have signed contract extensions with Kent.
Paul Farbrace, who has replaced Graham Ford as coach at Kent, said he was pleased that the five players had decided to stay at Kent.
"The five players agreeing contract extensions is obviously fantastic news," he told the club's official website (www.kentccc.com).
"Not only are these players developing as cricketers, they are also Kent through and through and understand what the club is about and where we are looking to go in the future. They all have a lot of hard work ahead of them but the rewards are there if they are prepared to put the effort in."
Blake ended the season playing both Championship and One-Day cricket while Goodman represented the England Under-19s against Bangladesh.
