We currently have three senior teams and a thriving junior section all playing at Lawrence Road on one of the finest surfaces in our league. Since 1896 we have been playing at Lawrence Road however, in 1914 the ground was ploughed up as part of the ‘Dig for Victory’ campaign only to be later re-laid in 1919 with matches returning in the summer of that year.
In 2014 our 1st XI were crowned champions of the Anthony Axford Bolton & District Cricket Association league. The Anthony Axford Bolton Association is one of the oldest cricket leagues in the world, founded in 1888. Last season Luke Perry scored 881 runs for Flixton finishing third highest run scorer in the league.
In May 2010, our cricket section was proud to be awarded the ECB Clubmark Accreditation. We are always looking for new players of all ages and new sponsors at all times; you are always assured of a warm welcome here at Flixton.
