Furness were crowned 2013 North Lancashire and Cumbria League Premier Division champions after beating Whitehaven by seven wickets.

With one round of fixtures remaining, that victory puts them on 328 points and they are well clear of Cockermouth (290), Cleator (249) and Haverigg (246).

They confirmed their victory by bowling out Whitehaven for 124 before easing to 125 for three.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Workington, Wigton and Keswick.

The Division One title was also decided this weekend. Egremont thrashed Lanercost by 192 runs to both confirm their title and Lanercost's relegation.

On 285 points, Egremont now have an unassailable lead over Workington II (267) and Ulverston (252).

Along with Lanercost, Penrith II are also down despite a rain-affected draw this week with Seascale.
