Nottinghamshire 184-5 (Hales 95) beat
Durham 183-7 (Richardson 53) by five wickets

Alex Hales scored a 30-ball 95 as Nottinghamshire chased down 184 runs in just 13.5 overs with five wickets in hand against Durham in the North Group Natwest T20 Blast at Trent Bridge.
Nottinghamshire won the toss and decided to field first. In the first over, Samit Patel (2-23) castled Graham Clark (1) but Cameron Steel (35) played positively to take the score to 48 for one inside the powerplay.
Between overs eight and 10, Durham lost Steel, Jack Burnham (1) and Gareth Harte (6) with Steven Mullaney (2-24) picking two wickets in that phase and at haflway mark, they were reduced to 71 for four.
Michael Richardson (53), who kept Durham's hope alive fell on reaching his half-century and it was cameos from Paul Coughlin (42 not out) that came off 25 balls along with Ryan Pringle's (25) 12-ball knock that lifted Durham to 183 for seven in the 20 overs.
In the chase, Riki Wessels (41 not out) and Hales (93) provided a blistering start bringing their century stand in just six overs. Overs five and six yielded Nottinghamshire 53 runs with Hales smashing six boundaries and three sixes in it.
With three more sixes in the seventh over, Hales inched close to a century but fell in the next over, five runs short off a record milestone. James Weighell (2-25), who dismissed Wales also accounted for Tom Moores (0) but Nottinghamshire went on to complete the chase in just 13.5 overs with five wickets in hand.
