Harish Kumar's all-round heroics see Chepauk Super Gillies to a massive win over Kanchi Veerans
Despite Rajagopal Satish's innings, Super Gillies fell short by no less than 61 runs. Harish Kumar was the strike bowler for the Super Gillies and picked up four wickets, while giving just 15 runs from his four overs.

Chepauk Super Gillies won by 61 runs
After losing opener Gopinath on the tenth ball of the match, Ganga Sridhar Raju and skipper Kaushik Gandhi joined hands to stabilize the Super Gillies' innings. After Raju's dismissal, Gandhi went on to notch up a half-century and got able support from Uthirasamy Sasidev and Harish Kumar.
It was Harish Kumar who provided the actual impetus to the Super Gillies innings with 53 runs off just 20 balls with one four and six sixes at a mind-bowling strike rate of 265. Gowtham Kannan pick up two wickets for the Kanchi Veerans but was very expensive.
The Veerans did not start well and lost both their openers within the first four overs. The twins strikes were followed by the wicket of skipper Baba Aparajith.
Kanchi Veerans were never really in the game but had it not been for the 26-ball 44-run innings from Rajagopal Sathish, the margin of the win would have been even higher.
