Sri Lanka 504 & 258-9 dec (Karunaratne 88) beat
Zimbabwe 272 & 233 (Herath 8-63) by 257 runs
Second Test, Harare, day five
Zimbabwe started the day at 180 for seven, needing a massive 311 runs more for a victory. Craig Ervine (72) added just seven more runs to his overnight before he edged one to the slip fielder in an attempt to reverse sweep Herath (8-63). He used a review but the ball had made contact with the glove before hitting him on the shoulder.
Herath continued his wicket-taking spree and trapped Carl Mumba (1) LBW as well. Even though, Donald Tiripano (16 not out) and Chris Mpofu (20) frustrated Sri Lanka with their 32-run stand for the final wicket, Herath ended the innings by dismissing the latter LBW.
The 257-run victory also allowed England to complete a 2-0 series whitewash over Zimbabwe.
Herath bagged the man of the match while Dimuth Karunaratne was named the player of the series.
