West Indies President's XI 311-5 (Hetmyer 97) v Pakistan
Tour game, Jamaica, day one

Shimron Hetmyer and Vishaul Singh scored 97 and unbeaten 81 respectively as West Indies President's XI scored 311 for five at stumps on day one of the tour game against Pakistan in Jamaica.

Mohammad Amir (2-45) struck in the second ball of the innings when he had Kyle Hope (2) caught but Kieran Powell (58) and Hetmyer (97) joined together for a 148-run stand to resurrect the innings.

However, both batsmen fell in quick succession when Yasir Shah (1-91) accounted for the wicket of Hetmyer while an indecision in running costed the wicket of Powell.

Pakistan made a brief comeback when Shamarh Brooks (9) was trapped LBW by Mohammad Asghar (1-88) to restrict the hosts to 193 for four.

Vishaul (81 not out), Jahmar Hamilton (26) and Raymon Reifer (36 not out) made useful contributions to end the day at 311 for five in the 91 overs.

Amir picked two wickets for Pakistan while Asghar and Shah picked a wicket apiece.
