"We're doomed," jokes Cricket World official ambassador Matthew Hoggard as he looks ahead to England's summer series against New Zealand and Australia.

England play two Tests, five One-Day Internatioanals and a Twenty20 International against New Zealand and Hoggard says that taking on Brendon McCullum's men will push England hard.

"It is going to be a hard series for England to win," he says, adding that New Zealand have "dynamic" batsmen.

And despite lauding fellow Yorkshireman Joe Root for his astounding run of recent form, and predicting he will be the next England captain, Hoggard is expecting a tough battle when Australia arrive to play The Ashes, as well as a Twenty20 International and five ODIs.

"England are going to find this summer tough," he adds.

And asked to name the players he thinks will impress most this summer, he picks out McCullum, Root, Gary Ballance and James Anderson.
