Hot Spot - ICC WT20 Super 10 stage preview - Cricket World TV

The Super 10 stage of the ICC World Twenty20 2016 is upon us, so Chetan Narula and John Pennington guide you through both groups in their latest Hot Spot discussion show.

They start by reflecting on the first stage of the competition which saw Afghanistan and Bangladesh win through, much as expected.

However, there were some incident-packed clashes including a fine win for Oman over Ireland.

Next, they look ahead to Group 2, or the 'group of death', which comprises Australia, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand and Pakistan.

India and New Zealand meet tomorrow (15th March) but Australia are fancied by many to make a strong showing in this tournament.

After a slight technical hitch cut short Chetan's analysis of Group 2, we move on to Group 1, where Afghanistan join England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies.

There may be three former champions in this group, but this one, to these observers at least, seems more clear-cut.
